Muliti-Select options disappear when editing a profile

I login as Editor or Admin then edit the profile by clicking on the cog in the members directory

I have tried to do the same procedure and I can edit the profile and also change values in a multi-select dropdown without loosing the multi-select.

Please make a screen copy of your multi-select settings in the UM Forms Designer and upload to imgur.com and share the link in this Forum so we can see your settings.

Click on “Register a user” – fill in a few fields (leave country blank) the multi-Select is Main Role.

The registration will fail because country is required field- at this point the multiselect has already lost its information

Yes this seems to be an UM bug, I will make a Github issue about this.

Some combinations of selections will display the first selected option but never all of the selected options.

When I did setup the same Registration for my UM test site everything works as expected.

This must be an issue for your site.

Can you make a simple Registration form for testing if there is an issue with other fields in the current Registration form.

I have built this from scratch on 2 websites and have the same issue- I will build on this form adding in the searches etc and see at what point it fails.

Took me a while but figured it out. In the selection choices on the Multi-Select there was a space in front and at the start of each list item where I had copied and pasted the selections

Deleting the spaces fixed the issue.
