Multi-blog API use for Akismet

    When I started blogging I used wordpress.com and got an API number there, as well as set up spam criteria there.

    I now use www.ads-software.com 2.0.5 and have entered the same original API number in thos blogs. It seems to have accepted that number as valid as I no longer get the API number warning message.

    Is that true? Am I protected? Or is this a false sense of security?
