Multi-Blog Question

  • Hey All,
    I just install the 3.0 beta 2.0 and created a second domain site with the option Add New,

    is it normal that it’s not yet available 4 hours later?

    do I need to do another steps after to make it available online and for editing with wordpress?, is there stuff to do in my database of my supplier?

  • Does the second domain actually exist?

    If you set it up using the subdomain options, you still need to add the wildcard subdomain records both in your DNS and Apache.

    Ask your webhost support, they’ll tell you more.

    Yes I selected subdomain options,
    so before calling my webhost,
    should I re-install wordpress with the other option and I won’t need too add subdomain in my webhost each time that a new user wants his website?

    so in other words should I select the other option that the result is exemplesite.com/user1 that makes it more easy and faster for each new user for me?

    If you can’t use wildcard subdomains, then yes – redo the install.
