I use Aelia currency switcher. I have EUR and JPY currencies in my store.
With the latest PayPal plugin, JPY checkout doesn’t work.

    Hello @b1026q9

I am seeing the same outcome in my testing environment when I change the currency to JPY.
Can you open a ticket on our support system so we can get this further checked by our developer’s team? Please include a link to this thread in it and describe a bit further what you are seeing.
When I try to checkout the product I am getting an error:

[UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY] The requested action could not be performed, semantically incorrect, or failed business validation. https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2/#error-DECIMALS_NOT_SUPPORTED

    Are you seeing the same?

Here it describes how you can open a ticket with Inpsyde: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/how-to-request-support-via-widget-on-the-website/

Thank you for reaching out and informing us about this issue. We will be pending your ticket in our system to further investigate this.

    Thank you.

    hello @b1026q9

I just checked a bit further and the Yen is supported within PayPal, but according to the PayPal website it is not done with decimals: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/reports/reference/paypal-supported-currencies/.

I have tested this in my testing environment and did not get the outcome I was hoping for; I still get the same errors. So I have opened a ticket with my developers to have this checked out. Pending their response.
If you will open the ticket I suggested in my previous comment, we can link you to this dev ticket and you will be kept better up to date.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
