Multi-domain Bilingual site issues

    Stack: LAMP
    My setup:
    domain1.com (EN)
    domain2.com (FR)
    DNS records points both domains to the same IP on AWS. (Its been 24hours since records have been updated).
    Polylang settings > “The language is set from different domains(checked)”
    English: domain1.com
    French: domain2.com
    ERROR: Polylang was unable to access the https://domain2.com/?deactivate-polylang=1 URL. Please check that the URL is valid.

    domain1.com works (SSL works)
    domain2.com returns 404

    I’m sure I’m missing information, can anybody see something I missed? I think I followed the polylang doc description on how to set up multidomain languages point to the same directory).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    I’m quick to provide more information if needed.
