    Hi,
I’m using TinyMCE and trying to enter a “Multi FAQ”. First, the titles in the popup are not in English. Second, when I click “Add One”, nothing gets added.

If I enter all the appropriate information and click “OK” nothing happens (the popup doesn’t close, no shortcode is added either”.

I also tried manually typing out the multi FAQ shortcode. Using the following:
[sc_fs_multi_faq headline-0="h3" question-0="What states are stun guns illegal?" answer-0="The following states are illegal to own or posses a stun gun: Hawaii, Rhode Island, and U.S. Virgin Islands." image-0="" headline-1="h3" question-1="Do you need a license to own a stun guns" answer-1="In most states you don't need a permit. In Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin you do." image-1="" headline-2="h3" question-2="Is carrying a stun gun illegal?" answer-2="In most states no it is not. Only Hawaii, Rhode Island, and U.S. Virgin Islands is it illegal to protect yourself with a stun gun or Taser" image-2="" count="3" html="false" css_class="your-class"]

All of the double quotes have been corrected, yet nothing shows up on the page.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi @w00tw00t111 ,
html=”false” is specified at the end of your shortcode. In this case only the JSON will be output in the source code but the website visitor cannot see anything.

If the user should see the FAQ just change html=”false” to html=”true”.

Please check if this works ??

    Hi @gorbo ,
Thanks so much for the quick reply!

I feel silly, but yes setting html=”true” fixed it. However, for future reference for other users – if you don’t have the html option added it will default to false (which not showing the question/answer on the page to the visitor is against Google’s ToS. Just for info)

The actual TinyMCE shortcode option (the modal that opens when you click the TinyMCE icon) still does not work with Multi FAQ. Just a heads up.

    Thanks!

    Hi @w00tw00t111
Is this true that if you are not showing the question/answer on the page to the visitor that is against Google’s ToS? I did not know that.

@riley74 according to John Mueller from Google FAQ should be visible: https://twitter.com/JohnMu/status/1186533522217099264

@w00tw00t111 At the top of lightboxmodal is a checkbox “Render HTML” – if it is checked the attribut is html=”true”. Unchecked it is “false”. See the screenshots at the plugin page. If it doesn’t look that way, please send us screenshots and some details of used WP version & pagebuilder etc. via twitter: https://twitter.com/wpsc_plugin

    Greetings

@gorbo thank you for the clarification. But I am still having a Duplicate Field “FAQPage” error on Google Search Console for my blog post.

    How do I fix this?

    Hi @riley74 ,

you do not need to insert the multi-FAQ Shortcode multiple times. You can answer all questions within one shortcode!

Select MultiFAQ in your TinyMCE and at the bottom of the lightboxmodal (where you insert the question and the answer) you’ll find a button “Add one” – this means “Add another FAQ”. Then you can a second, a third etc. FAQ.

Please check the reference shortcode at the plugin page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/structured-content/

    @gorbo
    thank you!
does this look correct to you now? (I’m sorry I don’t know any coding, I am just a photographer and not familiar with things like this, so I ask alot of questions. ??

    Hi @riley74

yes, the shortcode works in my test-install. Please make sure you use normal quotation marks – i’ve copied the shortcode from above and found differnt formated quotation marks. There is a difference between

    ” vs ″ vs ”

The last one is the good one ?? this can sometimes happen when you use the visual editor in special environments – then the tinyMCE formats the the quotation marks in a wrong way.

Just replace the quotation marks with the one you find on your keyboard (search&replace function) and the shortcode works.

    Greetings

@gorbo it worked!! THANK YOU!! I really appreciate your help!
