Multi-instance sidebar widget

Hi,

I’m trying to create sidebar widgets but if I do it the normal way as described in some tutorials I can only add each widget once in one sidebar and once it’s added I can’t add it to another one. I would like to be able to add the same widget (but with other configuration options) to multiple sidebars.

Is this possible and how? An example code with be great!
