I’m using Qtranslate-X on my website, along with WP Testimonials. The fields allow me to use multi-language settings in format of:

    [:en]English text here[:fr]French text here[:]

But the URL field breaks it, so I can only use one URL for my client’s website (whereas I’d like to point French readers to a French landing page and English readers to the English landing page).

I thought I could do a workaround by doing the following in the ‘Company‘ field above the URL field:

    [:en]Business name[:fr]<a href="French landing page URL">Business name</a>[:]

and using the URL field for the English landing page alone, but the markup was stripped out of the ‘Company’ field. ??

It would be nice to be able to use the URL field with multiple languages.

The problem is with the URL field setup, which doesn’t accept the usage of ‘[:en]’ before the website (which breaks the link). The ‘Company’ field strips out the code, so I don’t see how Qtranslate-X can provide a fix when it’s not their field setup causing the problem. The other two fields work fine with Qtranslate-X.

This isn’t resolved as much as refused. :/
