    Hello everyone,

I am showing Categories and Pages on my blog navigation. I would like to show both the Parent and the Sub-Navigation and would prefer a simple “drop down” solution that shows the Sub-Navigation when someone rolls over the Parent navigation.

I have been looking for Plug Ins that could help, but am wondering if there is a way that I can achieve this without using a Plug In by modifying my PHP.

    Here is my blog: https://www.popuppoems.com/

If anyone has any recommendations, I would really appreciate it!

    Thanks so much!
    Linda

  • Hi Linda,

You just need to set up a custom menu for your theme and then ‘drag-and-drop’ the pages, posts, or categories, to arrange them in the order you want… nested items automatically become drop-down menus in main navigation.

A picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s a video that shows how to do it.

    Cheers,
