multi rooms with different capacity

    I am setting up a calendar for Hot Air Balloon Ride bookings. We have several balloons. Each has a different capacity. How do I set this up? For example. One balloon only carries two people and the other balloon carries up to eight people. So when the first balloon has two people booked it is full but the second balloon could have up to 4 sets of two before it is full. BUT.. Lets say there is a party with 4 people and they want to book a flight in the eight passenger balloon. That would still leave 4 more spots open. Then if another couple booked for two passengers in the second (eight passenger) balloon there would still be two spots left in that balloon. So…. How would you recommend that I set something like this up?

    Hi @thompsonaire.

    We believe the solution is to use multiple calendars for different balloons and use the options “Number Availabile” option on the main calendar settings page. This way, customers will book the available seats, and once all the seats are booked, they will see the day as booked.

    You can use the extra fields, but since the prices are different, it is better to use different calendars.

    By the way, you can add tabbed (using a tab plugin or a custom code) calendars so that users can select which balloon they want to book on the same page.
