What plugins are you running?

NectGEN Gallery
Price Table
Simple Page Sidebars
Tipsy Social Icons
Wordpress IMporter

All the others are Deactivated.

Wait you can only see the main site if you’re NOT logged in?

I can edit in admin but when i log out and view page the alterations cannot be seen.

One thought i had and that is i also am running MAMP with muti sites, would this conflict with my current site as i am led to believe you can only run one copy of wordpress on your computer at any one time.

OK may have found the problem but not sure how to fix it.

When i go to main site and click on home page, all amendments shown

When i go to actual page, old info is being shown.

Not sure what is happening.

This is all on localhost? Not on a server?

I have deleted what i can see so local host hasn’t got anything to load at the moment.

Someone mentioned about mapping the sites but i haven’t got a clue what he means?

Tried to google it but no joy.

Would you know if the subject has ever been discussed on the wordpress forum please?

Probably, but you’re not explaining what you mean very well (not your fault, it’s hard to do when it’s the first time at any of this, we all had that problem).

Where is WP installed? On a sever or on your computer via a local install?

I did run MAMP for a while, local server, with a few sites running and also i have a site on 123-reg, their server and Hostgator, their server.

As far as i can see i have deleted all other files on my mac to try to see if there is some sort of conflict.

One of the helpers on 123-reg mentioned that i could map all sites to the primary one but that is where i got lost as they haven’t a tutorial up and running yet.

I have FTP all the files from the server to a backup location just in case i have to reload wordpress and start again.

I loaded wordpress directly to the server using quick install if that makes sense?

OK, Managed to reload using hostgator and would like to run multi site but every time i enter:

define( ‘SUNRISE’, ‘on’ );

in the wp-config.php it will not load up admin.

Any ideas please?

Thanks for all your help. What happened was a problem with the plugin, or lack of it. All installed now but am taking a break as I cannot get sense out of 123-reg regarding mapping.
They keep on about creating a folder and directing everything to it, but they haven’t said where and what I put in it, right pain for a newbie.
Tried Hostgator but lost all my sub sites and on 123 shows its mapping but not doing anything.
