    Hi!

    I’m new to this plugin… If I understand it right I just need to install it to my self hosted WP site (and use the wordpress.com login credentials). Then I will get a lot of new features and it will show up automatically in the WP app as well, is that correct?

    Will it work If I have a multi site environment? Should the plugin be installed and activated on the network level then?

    Btw… Is the new app for OS X similar to the one for iOS?

    That’s correct.

    Jetpack can work on Multisite environments. You can either network activate it, or activate it on specific sites, that’s up to you. You’ll need to connect each site to your WordPress.com account to complete the Jetpack installation.

    Is the new app for OS X similar to the one for iOS?

    The design is somewhat similar, but the technology is different, and the iOS app doesn’t require you to use Jetpack, so they’re quite different in that regard.

    It’s worth noting that we reply to every thread from the oldest to the newest. Every time you bump a thread, it goes back to the bottom of the queue, so I’d recommend against it.
