• Hi,
I have one domain and 1 add-on domain and use WP 3.4.1.

For my first domain I activated multi site time ago.
Now I like to do this too for my add-on domain. Does the add-on have an own wp-config.php file that I need to edit to activate multisite?
When I now open wp-config.php in the root of the add-on I see exactly the same content as in the wp-config.php of the first domain.

Is there a multi-site setup manual available on www.ads-software.com?

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Marc.

It should but it depends on how you created your add-on.

Generally what you do with an add on is put it in it’s own folder.

The add-on has it’s own folder with it’s own WP-files and wp-config file. But the content is exactly the same as that of the primary domain.
In the add-on wp-config file it says: define (‘MULTISITE’, true)

But the network option isn’t active for the WP-dashboard of the add-on domain.

    No…

If the add-on is in its own folder, then it is a separate install. This is a separate multisite.
