Multi-step form displaying as black bar

    I have just installed the GiveWP plugin and tried to set up a multi-step form. I am still testing it out so I don’t have a link to show the problem.

    When I create a multi-step form and click preview it shows the green loading icon, then when it finishes loading all that displays is a thin black bar.

    In Chrome dev tools an error message is displayed “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()”

    This only happens with the multi-step form, the legacy form displays with no problems.

    I am happy to dig into what might be causing the problem, here. Without a bit more context, or a spot to see the problem live, it’s going to be difficult!

    I just tried to replicate a problem on a local installation here, and I am having no problem.

    Can you give me step by step what you are seeing, or perhaps make a screen cast showing the problem?

    Nevermind it seems that this issue only happens when I’m trying to preview the form. If I publish the form it displays with no problems.

    Actually I’ve just tried to do a donation through the paypal gateway. The payment went through totally fine but when it returned to the donation page this error appeared

    Hey @jenagade

    I’m not 100% sure what’s going on with those errors in the most recent screenshot, there.

    We did have an issue in version 2.7.4 of some database tables not correctly creating that might result in errors related to the sessions (which is what I’m seeing a lot of in that error message).

    The fix is (1) update to 2.7.5 and (2) deactivate GiveWP and then immediately reactivate it.

    Hi Ben

    I was already on version 2.7.5 but I tried deactivating and reactivating it anyway and that seems to have done the trick thanks!
