    Hello,

I want to start a new woocommerce store in a few countries and I struggling finding best solution.
    Here are my thoughts:

    1. Should I create a new website for each country ?
    For example
    UK store with co.uk domain
    German store with .de domain
    Spanish store with .es domain?

Each site will be separate instance of online store ?

    2. Can I host every instance on 1 account of hosting – for example Blue host ?

    3. In case I use different site for each country should I pay for every additional plugging separately x3 themes, x3 plugins, x3 etc ?

    4. Which is best option regarding SEO ? Different website for each country with local domain extension ?
Or if I create a so called multilanguage site with translation ?

    5. I dont need any special stock management because so this is not a worry point for me.

I am mostly interested which is the best option to create web presense in a 3 countries and I want to clear the project before starting out.

  • You should try this via WordPress Multisite, then you can choose your setup. Either you can use subdomains, which you mentioned in you post, or sub directories.

The main problem with seperate sites or a multisute is that each one is completely seperate! So you would need to add and manmage products on each site – and you would need to ensure that your payment processor will support all three sites!

The plugin/theme costs would depend on the individual item – but usually they say that each domain needs a seperate license!

A multilingual site would probably be a lot less work!

But how is it better regarding the SEO and domains ?
I am thinking that it will be better if I have 3 domains for each country – different languages, different domain extension TLD – co.uk, .es, .de ?

For this ‘multilanguage’ site can it rank different in every country ? For example if someone search ‘apples’ from google.de will it be better to find apples.de or that multilingual site ? How the optimizations are happening there ?

I agree, a different website for each country is the best if you really care SEO. But if you expect to sell a lot because of SEO you are wrong. Nowadays only paid marketing brings revenue. So maybe having different websites for different countries is a waste of time, because at the end you will have to pay to advertise if you want to sell. Not saying that different websites for different countries are useless, but they just take too much time to maintain.
