• PHP: 5
    MySQL: 5
    WordPress; 2.3.2
Themes: Chameleon and Sandbox with Chocolate Vanilla.
    Problem: Don’t work.

They don’t work with the standard page template, they don’t work with the links page or archive page templates. Yet people have gotten them to work. How?

What are people doing with these two plugins to get them to work? Why doesn’t Dagon Design include this information?

Yes, the PHP files are in my plugin directory. Yes, the CSS files are in the respective theme directories. What else needs to be done? Are other users of WordPress 2.3.2 having trouble with these plugins? If the plugins are not compatible with 2.3.2 then why are they listed as compatible?

Yes, I’m ticked. When I go to use a plugin I expect it to be ready, to have complete documentation, and for the plugin writer to be honest about which version of WordPress that plugin is compatible with. As far as I can tell, neither plugin is ready, neither plugin has complete documentation, and Dagon Design is being dishonest when they claim that the plugins in question are compatible with WordPress 2.3.2.

Being able to list links and categories in multiple columns on a page or in a post is a good idea, I know await a plugin writer who can implement this idea, and do it right.
