    Hello,

I have defined a new skill using the English language, and the bot is working fine. However, I have a multilanguage site, so I have also a french skill version.

How to call the good skill for the correct language? Meaning, an english user should use the english skill bot, while the french user must use the french skill.

    How to do this?

    Many thanks.

    Didier.

Hello @swissspaceboy. Thanks for reaching out to us.
Right now you can integrate only one Skill into single Assistant on IBM’s side. Therefore, for your task you should have two Assistants (French and English). Unfortunately, we don’t have support for multiple Assistants on a single site yet, but we have it in our roadmap.

Some people solve similar problem by developing one “superskill” with different “branches” that are triggered by recognizing specific intents and entities.

If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to ask them.

Thanks for the reply. I imagine that you can develop English and french intents, all inside one skill.

For the moment, I will keep my bot speak one language only.

Thanks for keeping this multilanguage feature on the roadmap. Additionally, some admin labels also must be translatable via WPML or Polylang. They require some special registration.

    Many thanks!

    Didier.
