I’m testing tablesome with CF7 and want to present a simple table to users. I have several fields with information and one larger commentary text field for remarks and such.

In the table the text won’t automatically line feed and overlay the existing text, if it’s too long for the cell.

I tried different themes and browsers, all the same.

Any ideas? I’m using the free tablesome version.

    Cheers for the help, Thomas

  • hello @tsingbartl1,
You can do this by changing the column type from Text to Rich text. You can change the commentary text field to rich text, in the columns options, like how you see in the image below.

Cheers for the tip. I did that, but I guess you send me to the right place. The cell itself does not do a line break. If I don’t set max-width for the columns the cell will expand to the length of the line.

If I set max-width the text (Rich Text) field will break the line but overlay the same line with the second line. Almost as if there is a max cell height which I can’t find to set.
First row is with paragraphs, the others without. Column max width is not set.

    Hello,
    Sorry for the delayed response.
We couldn’t reproduce this issue from our side, can you give a link to the page with this table?
Also, we need a screenshot of the display settings that you’ve added to identify the issue.
    Regards,
