Before writing this, I#ve read here, that translations in many languages exist.
Yet, I live in Germany, but Complianz shows English only.
I asked a friend in the Netherlands to visit the site with his Dutch browser, and he also got Complianz in English.
How can I get it multilingual correct?

My site is multilingual, using the WPGlobus plugin.

    HI @gunivortus01,

I see here; https://wpglobus.com/plugin-updates/wpglobus-multilingual-notices/, WPGobus added support. I’m not sure how WPGlobus works, maybe you have more luck at their support forum.

If they need our help, please let us know! (You can tag @aahulsebos so I know the thread is opened)

    regards Aert

    Thanks.
Because I’ve also some paid extensions of WPGlobus, I opened a ticket through the WPGlobus Help Desk, which is part of the menu in my backend. That goes directly to the technical support.
But I’ll let you know here as soon as I have a solution.
So, please, do not mark this thread here as Resolved.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Jarno,

over the last days I have found out, that multilingual problems I have with WPGlobus are caused in some way at my own internet connection. Both, the maker of that plugin and my admin added several translations to different pages of my site, also using the customizer, and they succeeded.
One location in Russia, the other in the Netherlands.
But using my two pc’s, my tablet and my notebook at home, it failed doing the same translating additions, even if I use different browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome and Opera).
So I have to find out what causes it … if I can find it out at all.
I’ll have in late summer a week’s holiday and will at the hotel try then to get your plugin also multilingual…. if my tablet and notebook succeed at another location. … sigh….

    Hi @gunivortus01,

This is indeed a bit strange. Did both users where the translations succeeded have their own user account?

If so, maybe try another account. I am pretty sure it’s not related to your location, and because you’re using different devices and browsers, this should not cause an issue.

    regards Aert

    Hi Aert,

one of them used an admin account I had created for support reasons. The other, my admin, used my account. And I tried it both with my own and with that support account.
After searching and testing for quite awhile, I have to admit, that I have become pretty clueless.
While using Firefox, I had logged the failing procedure and saved it in a HAR file, but that did neither show a possible cause.

Anyway, this might be drifting off a bit from your plugin. ??

    Regards,

    Hi @gunivortus01,

Hard to find out what might be causing this, however, it doesn’t seem to be related to Complianz as far as I can see. It could have something to do with the network because as you stated, the issue seems to persist on multiple devices, but only within the network that you’re currently using.

I’ll close the thread for now as the issue seems to be isolated within your network, but feel free to reach out to us if we can provide any assistance.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
