• Hello guys,

I am using translatepress to translate my WordPress website.

But the fact of the matter is that in Ahrefs I get a lot of errors.

Has anyone got a better recommendation for making a wordpress website multilingual and SEO friendly ?

    Thanks in advance.

  • TranslatePress provides an article on this. It describes that you should install an addon for their plugin. Have you ever tried that? Here is the link: https://translatepress.com/docs/addons/seo-pack/

If you are dissatisfied with TranslatePress’ implementation, please contact their support. They can certainly help you, as they are well aware of the problem, as you can see from the article.

If you are using WordPress, you can use Yoast SEO Multilingual. It can save you much time.

You can as well use Polylang then apply and the free version of Yoast SEO Plugin to manage the languages manually.

Note: If you are using WordPress you should be considering using a combination of Multilingual plugin and SEO plugin.

It not difficult to configure. Rather it is straight forward. I prefer configuring SEO manually than translating it automatically.

I have tested WPML with Yoast SEO plugin and Polylang with Yoast SEO plugin.

The fist pair worked better for me.
