Multilingual Sitemap XML Issue

    Hello,

    We are Using WPML for Multilingual site. When am checking the sitemap it will load all the pages in a same link. Also, I have tried to open the sitemap for different languages by adding like this. https://www.domainname.com/ar/sitemap_index.xml but it’s redirecting to 404 page(live site). the same method i have tried on localhost and the sitemap loaded without any issue. why the issue happening?

    Hello @navasahmed

    Thanks for reaching out about your sitemap. Yoast SEO does not have a way to parse out different sitemaps for different languages because?Google and other search engines do not require it. We add all the languages to the same sitemap. So all posts/pages (regardless of language) will appear on the post sitemap and page sitemap, and the same happens for any other post type.

    Doing it this way will not hurt the SEO or how Google crawls your site. Your multilingual plugin adds the necessary language information on the pages themselves.
