• I have a site that uses <!–nextpage–> to break long post into extra pages. The number of pages shows up correctly but when you click on the next page it shows that it is trying to go to the right url but it ends up redirecting to page one.

What’s up, this used to work fine.

OK, I just ran my site through the theme preview of another theme and I can get to the other pages of a post.
What the crap? Now I’m really confused.

Wrong again. I downloaded a theme switcher and the problem is still there. So when you use the previewer the extra pages are there correctly. Use the theme switch and only the first page can be reached.

Ok, it appears that if I make a new post then the pages show up fine but the old post don’t work.
I think it’s a 3.0.1 thing but I’m still lost on how to fix this issue.

Not that anyone cares but I found what’s causing the issue. It had to do with me having %category% in the pagination structure. I took it out so its just /%year%/%postname%/ and it works great.

I would like to get the categories back in the url but for now, this will work.

    Thanks for this-
I’ve been going crazy trying to figure this out. Unfortunately, I can’t remove %category% from my permalinks… ??

Let me know if you find other solutions

    Thanks Again!
