    Hi,

I’m seeing multiple 404s for CSS files that are part of Woocommerce, see example log entries below:

    xx.xx.xx.xx - - [Thu, 19 Oct 2023 08:28:39 +0100] "GET /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-blocks/build/wc-blocks-vendors-style.css?ver=10.9.3" 404

    xx.xx.xx.xx - - [Thu, 19 Oct 2023 08:28:39 +0100] "GET /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/packages/woocommerce-blocks/build/wc-all-blocks-style.css?ver=10.9.3" 404

This is even more strange as I’m not using Blocks at all!

Found the cause, it is down to MIME sniffing being disabled, and your CSS apparently is not correctly declared, so falling fowl of the security check.

  • Hi @ttoaster

Could you please walk us through the steps where you see these notices? You may use https://snipboard.io when sharing screenshots.

Also, for us to better understand your setup, kindly share the following:

    • System Status Report: navigate to WooCommerceStatus → select Get system report and then Download for support. This will download a TXT file which has the contents of the SSR to share with us.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerceStatusLogs.

    Hi Darla,

No there are no Fatal Error Logs.

I’m not sharing my System Report output with you, as it is irrelevant; the issue did not occur before I upgraded to the latest version of Woocommerce.

Furthermore, I am seeing this on multiple sites, and I have already given you the details of what I believe is causing the issue… see my original posting.

    Hi @ttoaster

I understand that the issue did not occur before you upgraded your WooCommerce to the latest version. However, for us to address you more effectively and for us to check your site properly, we would need to check your site’s System Status Report. You could redact any confidential information such as your site’s URL prior to sharing it here.

You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here. Or, you could use a service like https://pastebin.com/ then you can allow some days for the info to be alive while the issue is being checked. (Once the info is removed or deactivated from Pastebin this will not be accessible).

Furthermore, as requested by @aguinaldodarla, it would also help us as well if you could provide screenshots of where you’re seeing these error messages coming from your end.

Once we have more information, we’ll be able to assist you further.

I have the exact same problem. Exact same stylesheets as TToaster is talking about. This happens only in FF, all other browsers dont have this issue.
Weird thing is that in FF the main menu nav element of my website is not showing at all in the code. All other browsers show the main menu.

I have no idea if these missing stylesheets are causing this. But would like to resolve it anyway to see if that is the problem.

Any tips on how to proceed. The stylesheets in question are indeed not in the locations mentioned:

    Hi @kaps76,

I have the exact same problem. Exact same stylesheets as TToaster is talking about. This happens only in FF, all other browsers dont have this issue.

From what I understand, you’re facing a similar issue as @ttoaster, where you’re encountering 404 errors for specific WooCommerce CSS files. You’ve also mentioned that this problem is particularly noticeable in Firefox, where the main menu of your website seems to be missing.

Given that each site setup is unique, and to ensure we adhere to our ?? forum’s best practices, could you kindly initiate a ?? new topic in our support forum? This approach helps us zero in on your specific issue and allows other users facing a similar problem to easily find and benefit from the discussion.

In your new topic, could you please provide as much detail as possible? This might include screenshots, error messages, the steps you’ve already taken to try to resolve the issue, and any other information you think might be relevant.

You can use https://snipboard.io to share screenshots. Just follow the instructions on the page and paste the URL in your reply.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to assisting you further on the new topic.
