Multiple Albums on Page not Working Correctly

  • Hi,

    I have a page which is split into 2 columns, I have an album in each column. Column 1 has Album one and Column 2 has Album 2.

    If I click on album 2 in column 2 then the resulting gallery is shown in column 1 album 1.

    I would expect clicking on album 2 in column 2 to only show the gallery in column 2 not in column 1.

    Can you please help me resolve this

    I will be glad to help, could you please elaborate a bit more on your setup?

    Are you using the columns block or any other plugins?

    Please share your shortcodes and the code from code view for your columns.

    I will try to replicate and see if this is a spread issue or it might be an isolated instance.

    I have tested this problem a little further.

    I have set up a local test website using the default WP theme and blocks.
    It does not matter whether I use a single or double column the results are the same. If I click on one album thumb it shows the resulting gallery in the other album.

    WP Version: 6.2.1
    PHP Version: 8.1.18
    NGG Version: 3.36

    Shortcodes are shown below;

    [ngg src=”albums” ids=”1″ display=”basic_compact_album” thumbnail_width=”480″ thumbnail_height=”320″]

    [ngg src=”albums” ids=”2″ display=”basic_compact_album” thumbnail_width=”480″ thumbnail_height=”320″]

    No other plugins are installed.

    I hope that I have given you enough information to be going on with.
