multiple arrays in ‘category__and’ (query) ?

Here’s my question: is it possible to have multiple arrays in category__and? I need to do the following:

Display posts in categories 4 AND 2, 4 AND 3, 4 AND 5.
Categories 3 & 4 are child categories of category 2.

This wouldn’t do array('category__and' => array(4,2,3,5)), as it displays only posts that are assigned to all four categories.

I’m not sure if I explained myself correctly, will elaborate if necessary.
