Multiple blog pages

Before I begin, please, please do not say “use categories“. That is NOT what I want. I need a place, besides the main page, that can have separate posts sent to it. Two blogs, one site. I used to have a plugin that created “articles” that would do the trick, but for the life of me, I cannot find it or remember the name.
