I am having a problem keeping 3 diff wordpress blog passwords separate. I need to have the ability to access them all from the same computer and I keep getting an “INCORRECT PASSWORD” message. Of the 3 blogs I have 2 of them have a similar email address where the domain is the same but b4 the @ is different (I plan on changing this if that is possible). These are the 2 blogs that I cannot access at all anymore: islandmommy.com(islandmo) and chatnchill.com/blog (admin).

I have written to m [at] wordpress [dot] org and have tried to change the password now it tells me that my username and email address is not in the database no matter what combination I try to use. The user names are all different for each blog, however I did register as a user under the name islandmommy on the chatnchill.com/blog since the plan is for my husband to operate as the admin and i will just contribute from time to time as soon as i get it set up.

    Can someone help? Thank you

  • I am not sure I can follow what’s happening. Since I do a lot of WP work I log in and out to tens of blogs – without any problem. Yes, I keep the password “separate” on a paper ??
And yes, many of them have the same email address but it doesn’t make a difference.

Writing to Matt (the WP developer) will not help with your own installation.

I am not understanding what has happened because the when I put in for lost password, it says that the user does not exist in the database. I tried all 3 possible emails and user names, which I also keep seperate on paper. I have verified that islandmommy.com is there. The same happens for the chatnchill.com/blog site. So can you tell me who can reset these passwords for me b/c I have not been able to get in for a quite a while now?–I did not know that m was Matt..thanks for the info.

Thank you for your help, it is VERY much appreciated.

If you would have been a bit more concise… saying – you want to reset the passwords on your blogs. Period.
In that case I could’ve given you this earlier ??
