Multiple blogs linked to same share count

You can check the Facebook and Pinterest shares of any webpage using following APIs, respectively:
https://graph.facebook.com/?id=https://realitymanifestation.com/akashic-records/
https://api.pinterest.com/v1/urls/count.json?callback=heateorSss&url=https://realitymanifestation.com/akashic-records/
Just replace the url https://realitymanifestation.com/akashic-records/ in above APIs with the url for which you want to fetch shares.
Plugin depends on these APIs to show shares. So, there is nothing special plugin is doing to calculate shares.

Its useful to see where the shares are coming from but it still doesn’t explain why these 3 blogs are increasing in share count at the exact same time. The chances of that happening consistently is extremely low so I’m thinking its a bug in the plugin?

If you understand how the shares are being displayed with share icons, you would have understood that plugin is not doing any manipulation with shares. It’s related to how the social networks are tracking your shares.

Hi I’ve left it for almost 2 weeks and updated the plugin but those 3 posts still keep increasing at the same rate in share count. There is definitely something being detected wrong either through the plugin of the social media network.

Could it be possible how the plugin is picking up what the social media network is saying is causing a bug?

I mentioned the API in my previous reply which plugin uses to show shares. If that API is returning same shares for all the webpages, can’t do anything. Can’t explain better.
