I am in the ‘business’ of 100 ‘blogs’ on one site, why I am using this thread.
A short background:
I am preparing an educational WP site on 100 NGO’s I’ve published a book on, and the content will be rooted in individual pages “blogs” on each of the 100.
I may be seeing non-existent troubles ahead, but my concern is following:
Each of the 100 pages will have identical types of content such as pictures, text, RSS feeds, embedded video, comment plugin, quiz and survey. And likely also a guest blog-feature on each blog-page.
In terms of postings, I may be interested in promoting each of the 100 NGO pages, with different content elements from their page, but the content should not be experienced out of context. All content on each of the 100 pages belongs together.
Q:
I figure, that I will need to categorize each individual content I use, and then link to the page it belongs to, perhaps the href for exact location. Is that the best way?
Secondly,
I am thinking of sorting the 100 NGO’s into 7 categories, and whatever category the user chooses, will be visualized in postings linking to the matching NGO’s.
– Trouble is, that some of the 7 categories have +20 NGO’s, so a kind of rotation or something will be necessary, especially because the content is rather visual and artistic – I imagine 3 pr row on desktop.
Yes, I could have sub-categories to the 7 categories .. well, I am looking for something more intuitive.
Q: Any recommendations on themes for this use?
