Multiple “Brute Force” Attacks per Day, but No Failed Logins?

    So, I recently installed Wordfence on multiple sites after a (very simple) security breach. Never had issues before, and the issue that we DID have arose from someone we actually knew (we’ll say a disgruntled former employee).

    Now, I’m getting anywhere from 5-20 blocked “Brute Force” attempts per day, but the last logged failed login is from over a month ago. What gives?

    They are most likely getting blocked before they get a chance to log in? A login only counts as a failed login attempt if they were actually able to complete the action.

    Does that make sense?
