Multiple Categories Showing Nothing

  • I am using this excellent plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/list-category-posts) on a travel website I am developing. On the whole it is great. For example the shortcode [catlist name=”Dubai” thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] works to show the latest 12 hotels with the category Dubai to display. However the shortcode [catlist name=”Dubai”+”Adults Only” thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] does not display anything at all but [catlist name=”Adults Only” thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] does. What we want, for example, are Adults Only holidays which are also in Dubai. Only nothing displays. I have tried using the id=2+3 idea using the category IDs instead but with no luck id=1 works and id=2 works but id=1+2 does not work. I am using the Travelify theme and am very confused.     I really could use some help on this please. Been a week since my first post and no ideas from any one. Been looking again today. Have some shortcode examples to show what I mean.

    [catlist id=20 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] This one works

    [catlist id=11 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] This one also works

    [catlist id=11+20 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] However this one DOESN’T work

    [catlist id=20+11 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] And neither does this one, nothing is displayed at all.

    [catlist id=20-11 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] This one works partially, showing only results for cat id 20 and not removing those from 11.

    [catlist id=11-20 thumbnail=yes thumbnail_size=150 title_limit=24 numberposts=12] This one also works partially, with cat id 11 showing but cat id 20 not being removed.

    This is quite a significant function I need for the site I am developing and I would really appreciate some ideas and feedback as soon as possible.
