• I need to be able to set my clients shipping like this…

Match all of the following rules to allow free shipping:
Contains shipping class equal to free shipping (I have 2 classes set up class 1 and free shipping)
and country equal to united states

    OR

Subtotal is greater than or equal to 300.00 and country is equal to united states

The shipping class one works but not the subtotal. What am I doing wrong? I’ve tried adding both shipping classes to the subtotal one and still it does not work.

I also have multiple packages for shipping plugin in place because when something is purchased that has free shipping and something else that does not have free shipping, they wanted it to display separately. Could that be the problem? what should I do to make this work?

    Hi,

How did you setup the ‘subtotal’ condition group? Can you maybe post a screenshot?

The plugin doesn’t support multiple shipping packages in the way that it doesn’t calculate the conditions / rates based on the package contents, but it should still work besides that.

Going from your description you do only want to show the free shipping rate only for the package that has the free shipping class in it. My other plugin does support shipping packages and the ‘contains shipping class’ condition will be calculated based on the products within a package.

    Let me know! ??

    Thank you for responding.
I want to show free shipping when the products has a free shipping class.
I also want to show free shipping when any product subtotal is greater than or equal to $300.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the screenshot.

Right now that is setup so that it also requires to have both a free shipping class product and a class 1 product to be in the cart.

If you just want the $300 in the UK setup you’d want to remove those conditions.

    Cheeers,

What does the UK have to do with it? I have it set up the way I want it to work but it’s only working on the first set of conditions. It’s not working for $300 min order.

    Hi,

Sorry, I thought this was for the UK, must’ve mixed something up.

Still, you don’t need the ‘class’ conditions if you simply want free shipping above $300 in a country.

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

ok well when those are removed it still doesn’t do what I need it to do. Is there anyone else who can help?

    Hi,

If you only have the two conditions:
    – Country – equal – US
    – Subtotal – greater or equal – 300

    it should work without issues.

If you think it doesn’t work as expected, I’d advise to setup one of the two conditions to check if that one works on its own, and the same for the other, to verify how they work.

    Cheers,
    Jeroen

IF you look back at my first post about this you will see what I am trying to accomplish. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this maybe using a different plugin or other approach? This client is really pressing this and I’m getting no where on this issue.

    Hi,

I understand what you’re trying to accomplish, this is one of, if not the, most used setup using the plugin.

Therefore I’m also pretty sure it should work without issues, but you seem to have some either way. I’m trying to figure out what may be going on together with you, but I can’t do it on my own.

Going from your post you’re looking for another solution / someone else to reply. I won’t bother you with further questions as it doesn’t look like its something you want. Please do feel free to ask for my help if needed, as mentioned this is one of the most used setups and I’m sure it works as supposed to.

    Thank you,
    Jeroen Sormani
