Multiple countries select?

Hi all,

Do I have to manually add all the countries to the registration drop down select box? Or is there an easier way to do it? Also, I have seen some websites, where if the new registrant chooses, say, the UK, another drop down box will appear with all the counties from the UK. And if they chose the USA, another option would appear for them to select the state they lived in. Does anyone know anything about these mysterious and clever options?
