Multiple custom attributes with the same name?

Hi,

I’m using WooCommerse as a product catalog, with External products (linking to our shop). And I use attributes for a Technical information / Specifications-tab on each product.
It works great, until I want to use the same Attribute more than once. If I make two Custom attributes with the same name, one of them will be removed as soon as I publish the product.
How do I make this work?
I really need the ability to create many custom attributes with the same name.

Is there some code snippet I can use which disables WooCommerce ability to remove the duplicates?
