multiple delivery date requests

Can you please let us know whether the multiple date/time choices should be displayed on same checkout page or will there be something unique for each date and time?

If you could brief us with an example or with screenshots, that would help immensely. It would also help us to assist you in a better way to solve the issue on your site.

Hi Komal,

I think the date/time sets could all go on the same checkout page, or go in the cart, as a set of choices for each service. The former is probably sufficient. The idea of this is that a buyer of my client’s service is requesting that the service (a home inspection including the types of inspection (e.g. roof, foundation, windows) ordered in the cart) be delivered on one of three dates/times. My client would then choose the date/time that would work best, and inform the client via email and/or phone. Essentially, it would look like:

Service date/time choice 1: mm/dd/yy – hh:mm
Service date/time choice 2: mm/dd/yy – hh:mm
Service date/time choice 3: mm/dd/yy – hh:mm

I could use the WooThemes checkout field editor plug-in, which does have a date picker. However, it does not have a time selector, and I’d need to create one with a drop-down list for hours and another for am/pm.

Thank you for the detailed explanation and the client’s perspective. That helps.

Unfortunately it is not possible to display multiple date/time fields on the checkout page for the delivery of an order from our plugin currently.

We can modify the plugin so it shows the delivery date & time (via time sliders) 3 times on the checkout page. This is not something that we have planned for including in our plugin updates.

Hence we would need to take this up as custom development that would be billed separately. If you are fine with it, please drop an email on vishal at tychesoftwares dot com.
