• Hi Alan

I am hoping you can shed some light.
One of our editors uploaded 10 documents on the 31st of December. Somehow, this triggered the updating of over 100 documents to the new date and uploader details.

The documents also now have a new permalink (a 2 was added to the end).

Any ideas as to how this happened and how to fix. We are running a very crucial corporate website, and these sorts of issues are going to play havoc with our audit trail.

    Regards
    Viresh

Let see if this issue can be reproduced. First can you go to the Media Library Folders Support page on your site and on that page find the System Information tab. Please highlight, copy and paste the information about your site into an email and send it to us at support at maxfoundry.com and include ‘Multiple document properties updated mistakenly’ in the subject line.

So you are saying that files not uploaded at the same time had their upload time changed? What other details were changed?

What types of files were these documents that were uploaded, Word, PDF Excel, etc.?

Are the files with modified details of the same file types?

I assume they were uploaded to a folder via Media Library Folders. What was the directory path (for example, ‘uploads/2021/12’)?
