• Currently I have a team of people who I designed a static 10 page website with a blog incorporated. I have to update twice a year with new images and content. I want to change how I do this and have these people be self reliant. Is it possible to do the following with wordpress?

Design a site with 10 Static Pages and a blog. Copy and Save the database. Then install the same database on different URL’s?

    Any help would be appreciated

I’m missing where this needs to be Multisite at all…

Multisite will run you multiple, seperate, sites.

These will be separate sites on separate domains.

Maybe I missed the boat on where I was supposed to post this. Can you refer me to where I should?

Ahh Okay, separate sites on separate domains ?? That was what was missing. You’re in the right place.

Yes, WordPress Multisite can do this.

    1) Install WordPress
    2) Activate Multisite
    3) Create the ‘template’ site.
    4) Use https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/blog-copier/ to copy the template to new sites when needed
    5) Use https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/ to map domains

Thanks Ipstenu:) I appreciate your help.

Do I have to map the domain. Once I create one site. I just want to copy the template and static pages along with all images used. I dont want any of these sites connected. This is because the company I work with would not allow this. Im just trying to help the people in my downline get up and running on the internet then teach them how to blog and update their own site.

Do you want them to have separate domains? IF so, YES.

Define ‘connected.’ Multisite uses the same database and user base, but the sites aren’t ‘connected’ unless you make them connected.
