    Hi there,

    I’d like to use the SMTP-plugin. Do i understand correct that i can use several e-mailadresses by:
    – adding an e-mailaddres (ex. a [email protected], in the settings of the SMTP-plugin to set it up properly;
    – then choose different e-mailaddresses in ex. the contact-forms (for support, or info, etc)

    Regards, Ed’

  • Hi @eddiebouncer,

    I apologize for any confusion. WP Mail SMTP allows you to add sender’s address which will be authenticated and hence improving email delivery. The sender will always be a single email address.

    You can absolutely send emails to multiple recipients though, depending upon the contact form you’re using.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi Sanjeev,

    Thanks for the fast reply. I understand yo ucan add one sender’s address which is authenticated.
    But can we use multiple sender addresses? ex. we authenticate with [email protected] and then use [email protected] and/or [email protected] for different contact forms?

    Regards, Ed’

    Hi Ed,

    Happy to clarify!

    The answer to your question will depend on the mailer you’re using. If you use Mailgun or SendGrid, then you can use any email addresses as your From Email(s) — particularly ones that are [email protected]

    The reason this works for those particular mailers is that they authenticate in a different way than Other SMTP or Gmail (using DNS records on your site) — and through that, they don’t end up tied to just one specific From Email.

    However, I do recommend still sticking to From Emails addresses that are [email protected], as in the examples you mentioned, for most reliable delivery.

    Hope this helps! ??
