• G’Day,

In the Scanner section (‘Send Email When Change Detected’) we would like – in fact we really need to have multiple email alerts when the Scanner fires.

For at least 2 reasons :
    – its an important alert and inherently it should go to more than one email address in case someone misses it.
    – for situations like ours (below) where an email needs to go to both the client and another to the hoster/designer/maintainer.

Explanations: We run a small Web Hosting business and we insist that our WP clients install ‘WP Updates Notifier’ and your wonderful All In One WP Security plugin for multiple reasons, but MAINLY the Scanner as its saved our (and our customer’s) arse a few times.

2 problems arise as we offer an option that either we maintain and monitor their sites plugins and themes (for $$$) or they do after we’ve installed your All In One WP Security plugin.

    1) And guess what? Some of them don’t maintain their sites and if they get hacked it can pull the whole server down – so if we can get the alert as well we can immediately check and see how serious it is.

And 2) In the other scenario we maintain the site’s plugins and watch for Scanner emails, and the client forgets to reset the Scanner after making content changes, then we get a false positive email alert.

Figured we aren’t alone on this – help a lot if it was in place.

BTW – The Scoring system is awesome for client’s understanding, makes it very easy to explain and rate the changes your All In One WP Security plugin does to their site

    Cheers

    Hi NemiSys,
It sounds like a reasonable suggestion.
Just to confirm that I have understood you correctly – you want to be able to enter multiple recipients for the email which gets sent out after a file change is detected by the scanner, is that right?

It sounds like a reasonable suggestion – sure does !

Yes and stupidly I thought you guys were going to implement it and I was waiting – never saw the last entry from “wpsolutions” till I searched today to see where this was up to.

    SO just to confirm

YES I would like to be able to enter multiple recipients for the email which gets sent out AFTER a file change is detected by the scanner – normal stuff separated by a comma or a semi-colon.
