Multiple Emails sent when a post is published

  • Why do my subscribers received two separate emails when I publish a post? How can I have them just receive one?

    The internet email system is built to ensure delivery to 2 emails is considered to be better than none. That said it is still worth checking this issue but ensuring you don’t have duplicates in the database and installing an email logging plugin to ensure only one email is being generated in the first place.

    Thanks Matty. I have clients asking me to remove one of theirs emails, as the double email bothers them and I don’t want them to unsubscribe over it. I have checked and there are no duplicate email addresses listed. Which email login plugin do you recommend? I am not very tech savvy so any help is appreciated. Thank you!
