Multiple Event types

My organization has two types of events: scheduled committee meetings that need the ability to attach files (agenda, minutes, etc.), and community events that generally only need a description.
Is it possible to set up two (or more) separate event creation templates? Since we want to make things as easy as possible for our members, ideally the committee meeting admin would have custom, pre-named fields for the attachments—which wouldn’t appear on the general community events pages.
Is that something Events Manager can do?
