Keywords are added so the plugin can analyze the content against the keywords and make suggestions.

You can follow the following guide to reach 100 scores:

But please stay advised that these tests are just guidelines, and one does not need to follow them religiously.

At the end of the day, the content needs to be written for the readers and not for the search engines.

Scoring higher points in Rank Math’s tests won’t guarantee higher rankings.

So the plugin does not take the focus keywords I give it. It just make suggestions on its own based on the input I give it.

The links you provided only tell about how to do keyword research, I am asking how the plugin works and makes use of focus keyword.
