Multiple forms, custom label for users

hi all
i’m just a wp amateur so i’m hoping someone would help me in this..

i need to have 2 registration forms in 2 separate pages for mailing list and storage of data purposes, and all the user data should be stored in wp user functions.

form 1:
when user signs up, they’ll receive periodical updates when administrator sends an email to them periodically. users that register from this page will be labeled as ‘PIEC’ in the user registration form.

form 2:
when user signs up, they have to choose between 3 options to label them into different groupings: 1) investigator 2) participants 3) customer. this will have no functions but solely as storing of database purposes.

do you know of any plugins that may facilitate these?

i have installed Subscribe2, however i don’t think there’s an option to label the Subscribers into different groupings.
