    Support for this is actually in the works. I’m working toward support for a lot of the options currently available in the regular gallery shortcode, including an ids attribute and fully integrating with the new media manager so that you’ll be able to use the graphical picker for easily selecting which documents to include.

    I’m very short on time to work on this at the moment though, so if you come up with any solutions that you want to contribute, then feel free to share and I’ll probably include them in future releases.

    In case you’re interested, the development version now supports an ids attribute if you want to give it a test drive. It takes a comma-separated list of attachments ids.

    It sounds like with your exclude and include options that may not be overly beneficial though.
