• Hi,

When I upload an image to the media it automatically adds multiple image sizes.. How do I turn this off? I have 74.000 images now.

I already deactivated all plugins and activated Twenty-two theme and it still happens..

  • You can install a WordPress plugin called “Stop Generating Unnecessary Thumbnails” by Codexpert.
You can visit your WordPress plugin page and install this plugin.
I hope this will turn off uploading multiple image sizes.

The image sizes it generates do not show in this plugin. ??

You can try by installing a fresh WordPress from your control panel.
If still didn’t work please share some more details about the problem.

This doesn’t work.. The problem is I upload an image to the website it automatically creates the image also in:

    80×80
    85×85
    800×729
    800×470
    768×729
    768×452
    64×38
    50×29
    480×360
    300×300
    300×176
    250×250
    248×146
    150×88
    128×75
    1240×500
    1200×675
    1024×602

That is way way too much..

[ Please do not bump. ]
