Multiple images to one post / page

Hi,

I’ve created a very simple custom theme, each post/page as a column with n number of images associated to that post/page.

Is there any plugin that makes it really simple for the user to just upload a bunch of images to a particular post/page. then automatically spits out the images into a column.

Bit more customization, in the post index page where it lists all the latest post (index.php), I like to be able to show just the 1 (first) image associated with that post, then when you click through to read the post in detail. There will be a column with all images related to that post.
