Is it possible to have multiple installation of wp-store-locator?

I want to list different stores in two separate installation and not being able to see the content of both list in each search and category dropdown.

You can only install the plugin once in a normal WP installation, this works different if you use WP Multi site, then you can install it again on every site that’s part of the network.

If you want to use it on 2 different pages ( domain.com/page-a and domain.com/page-b ), and show different locations, then the only way to do this is by assigning the locations to two different categories. Then pass the category slug through the shortcode on both pages like this

[wpsl category=”my-first-category”] on page a, and [wpsl category=”my-second-category”] on page b. This will restrict the returned results to the provided category slug.

I’m using your last suggestion but the problem there’s no category dropdown menu with that shortcode. ??

It’s not supposed to show a dropdown anymore because the results are automatically limited to the provided category.

You would like to be able to show a custom list of categories in the dropdown? This isn’t possible at the moment, but I will add support for this in the future.

I would like to show sub-categories in the dropdown list. But I think I already asked you for that feature and answered me it will be in next release. Do you have a timeframe?

I was looking to separate two kind of data in two separate store locator plugin but you answered me it’s not possible. I will look for an alternative for my second directory for meanwhile.

    Thanks!
