I have multiple layouts on my wordpress site as well as multiple categories. I want to use this widget on each layout, but each layout would have different categories that…essentially, each layout would feature a different archive pulled from categories. I can only seem to use the widget on one layout at a time. Each time I add it to a second layout, it disappears from the first one. And, it won’t appear on the second one. I read in the description that this plug in is supposed to allow for multiple instances, but how, exactly, do I do it? Thank you.

I don’t understand what do you mean by layout? a new sidebar? template?

    Sorry for the confusion.

Essentially, I want to use the archive plug-in multiple/different widgets in my wordpress site. I can get it to work if I have it in one widget, but as soon as I add it to another it disappears from both.

It’s weird. I’ve tested myself this functionlity and worked. You have to drag another wiget to the sidebar and that’s it. You can have multiples widgets. Another way is by using another php widget and adding a shortcode.
