    Hi,

we′re using Advanced Custom fields Pro for designing a custom post type′s backend. There we′ve added a text area for post content and your button is displayed at the default editor within this text area editor. But when I open up the dialog “Single registration form” I cannot choose any option at “Select webinar” (there are no results).

When I open the same popup at the default post type everything works fine. I′ve written the support of Advanced Custom fields pro and they told me, that I should check, if your plugin allows multiple instanced of wp_editor().

Would be great if you can tell me some details, which I can forward to the team of Advanced Custom Fields pro.

    Thanks and regards,

    Hi,

I am not 100% sure. Our plugin is just using a standard implementation of the tinymce editor that most plugins are using via the mce_external_plugins and mce_buttons filters. You don’t have to use these buttons though to use the plugin. In the FAQ in the plugin settings there’s a lot of shortcode examples. The editor button is just a bonus to make things easier.

If you want to provide code customisations around this area of the plugin I am happy to include this in the core of the plugin.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

thanks for your explanation – so your plugin is compatible with advanced custom fields?

    Hi @yoursql719,

You will need to test the compatibility yourself as it really depends on what you are doing with Advanced Custom Fields. There’s so much you can do with Advanced Custom fields!

But I personally see no need for compatibility between the two. It’s like saying is akismet compatible with advanced custom fields…what does a spam plugin have to do with custom fields, the same could be said, what does a webinar plugin have to do with advanced custom fields…
