multiple language plugin

My page is translated to english and danish using the polylang plugin and I’ve managed to work around most issues.
But the sticky posts in my slider keeps showing on my landing page.
(my orignal page before translating was, one slider and 3 boxes below, made with just the 3 latest posts).
I have clicked the exclude from loop button, and th issues seems to be that I cannot make seperate settings for the languages.

I can make it work for one language but then the other one shows the sticky posts as blogposts, and if I correct the other language, then it just changes the other language.

Any ideas, or do I have to try another plugin? Im just afraid I might run into the same problem.
